  It seems the view 24/48/all option is not working if I am on any other page besides the first page.

  Is this only happening on my site?

  Would it be possible to have the fix also work even if number of products displayed has been changed by

  // Display 24 products per page. Goes in functions.php
  add_filter( ‘loop_shop_per_page’, create_function( ‘$cols’, ‘return 24;’ ), 20 );

  I’m not sure, possibly not. However you may be able to change it back to the number you want after you have ran the update
