I’ve searched for create footer, add footer and read through lots of posts but not been able to find help topics on the forum telling me how to simply add content to my footer.

I’ve read the neighborhood documentation and your page on how to recreate the footer in the demo – http://support.swiftideas.net/knowledgebase/neighborhood-demo-footer-widgets/
But I can’t find any documentation on how to create a footer – even a simple one. I have spent about two hours rooting around and cannot figure out how to get anything to show in the footer – other than being able to change the copywrite name etc, I cannot find a place where I assign/edit a menu to the footer.

The Footer widgets in my Appearance/Widgets do not have text values showing like they do in your demo. I guess this is where you add and control the content? What am I doing wrong / do I need to do first?

I’m sure this is pretty simple to do so hope someone out there can help me out. I am not a developer, I’m a designer working in WP for the first time.

    thanks.

Hmmm, I think I may have figured it out. Please feel free to delete this post – I would but cannot see an option to.
