    Hi guys,

    WordPress Version: 3.8.3
    Dante Version: 1.2

I’m setting up a client site, we’re using the shop in catalog mode. We would like to know if it’s possible to have the products listed in masonry style. What I mean is, having the product thumbs come out like how “Masonry Portfolio” is done. And you’re able to sort products by clicking on the top sorter and it’ll behave the same way.

If I’m not being clear, here’s an example of what I’m talking about:
    http://virtuusa.com/vanities/

If it’s not a straightforward option, is it possible to list the products using masonry portfolio and when individual item is clicked on, it goes to the product details page as in a shop (catalog mode).
    Example: http://dante.swiftideas.net/portfolio-one-column-standard-style/portfolio-masonry-standard/

Looking forward to your response. Thanks.

    Blessings,
    Eric

    Hi

Unfortunately this is not currently possible, if you want, you could use it the way you said with the portfolio and then forwarding the portfolio item page to the product page, however this may affect loading times

    Hi Kyle,

Thanks for your quick response. Would you mind showing me how to do that? When you mentioned that it’ll affect load times, how much slower are we talking about?

    Blessings,
    Eric

Also, can we put that in as a feature request? The Masonry product listings for Shops.

Will add it to the feature request.

To do it with portfolio, you will need to create portfolio items for each of your products, then go to thumbnail options in your portfolio items, and set the thumbnail to link to the product
