    Hi,

    How do I solve this?

When the next image in the standard slider in a portfolio item is big (vertical), then there’s a lot of space under the previous image + the big (vertical) image is cut off itself.

    Cheers,
    Robby

I also notice, when ordering pics, he takes the last one, when choosing “standard slider”, then the first one. I think it is related.

    Hi,
I see that images are not resized . Have you installed GD IMAGE extension at your server properly ? You may ask to hosting provider about GD IMAGE extension.

    Thanks

    Hi Mohammad,

It has nothing todo with the resizing, look at the other errors I described, these 2 things are definatly related.

In the standard slideshow for images on portfolio, he takes the last image as first, and then starts with the first image.
And the site also always adapts to the displaying size of the next image. So the site thinks it is displaying the first image, but it actually shows the last image, so it fits to the size of the first image. It took me a while to figure out, but that is the issue here. Do you get what I mean?

    Cheers,
    Robby

I’ll explain it with a screenshot attached.
    http://sportizonbe.webhosting.be/cases/proximus-cycling-challenge/

    The site shows image 11 first instead of image 1. The sequence now is 11 – 1 – 2 – 3 – 4 – ….

When showing image 11 first the dimensions for the image that the site displays are the dimensions of image 1. When showing image 1, the dimensions for image that the site dsiplays are the dimensions of image 2 and so on….

    Is this more clear? ๐Ÿ™‚

    Cheers,
    Robby

    Hi @makemakes,

Very odd – just tested the order setup here, and works perfectly, even after re-ordering a few times.

For the slider height issue, not sure exactly why this is happening, but I’ve just replaced the slider script with a fresh copy, and also turned smoothHeight off in an attempt to work around this.

Send me an email via: http://themeforest.net/user/swiftideas and I’ll happily send over a build with the changes.

    Hi Ed,

    1. the ordering is still the same for me. Still the last image comes first and then the first image shows (as u can see in the screenshot in the post above yours, i put numbers in them) + the slider hight issue is still there? I’ll send an email.

But I really do believe that it is linked as I described in my post above yours. With the screenshot.

Looking forward to your help, tnx a bunch in advance ^-^

    Replied.

If that doesn’t sort the ordering issue – can you try making a new test portfolio item with the images, and seeing if the issue remains?

    sorting issue is fixed!

the other issue remains (that the site doesn’t fit when seeing a portrait image for example)
