  I’ve been trying to import demo content for 5 hours now today, I’ve done it many times before without any problems – for some reason, the past few days, I have been unable to… Is there any reason that this would be happening? I’m using 1.7 and 1.7.1 and I’ve done all of the suggested workarounds to no avail. I’ve also changed my php.ini settings, still no luck. Is the server that is serving the demo content having issues? As I said, I have imported the demo content in the previous versions of Neighborhood with no problems, ever… why are there problems now?

  Also – I tried importing content on WP 3.8, 3.9, and 3.9.1 today using Neighborhood 1.7 and 1.7.1 — I keep on getting a timeout error…

  Hi @adamf,

  The only reason you’d be getting import timeouts would be your host killing the process. If this happens, best thing to do is hit the back button on your browser, and then continue as if you were starting the process. It may take a few repeats, but will eventually go through!

  Thanks for the reply Ed, I’m developing on my local machine on a 50Mbps connection, so that takes a hosting server out of the equation – and no changes to my local apache/mysql/php setup- strange….
