  Can you please supply some info on how I can reduce the size of the image in the actual blog post (not the thumbnails, when you actually click into the post, the image is HUGE)

  Its a bit silly that the image is so big and takes up all of the above the fold (not great user experience)

  Can you please help with making images smaller?

  ps. yes i have clicked (and the image is still huge): Full Width Media Display

  Check this box to show the detail media above the page content / sidebar config, rather than inside the page content

  Hi

  the options that you have chose will cause the image too be big, you want to do the opposite. Turn off full width media display and select to show the image inside the page content

  The images are still huge.

  can you please advise which setting i need to use in order for the image to appear its original size?

  You will need to set Detail Media Display to ‘none’ and then add your image into your content
