    Hi,

    I’ve created a single page using anchors and blanks spacers and it all works fine.

    The problem is that I want to have a separate ‘blog’ page in the menu and when I go to that page and click on the other menu items (that are located on the single page) nothing happens. If I add the whole address to the menu item (http://www.url.com/#clients instead of just #clients) when I visit that page, clients is always highlighted. Same with every menu item/section.

    Is there a solution where both a single page (using anchors) and a 2nd blog page (using the same menu) can work well together?

    Thanks!

    (running the site locally)

    Hi Mohammad,

    How will any screenshots be useful? The problem is with the function of the menu between a single page (using anchors) and a separate page using the same menu with anchors.

    I went through the forums and my problem is very similar to this thread:

    http://support.swiftideas.net/forums/topic/hide-menu-voices-in-a-specific-page/

    In my main (one-page) menu I have
    #section1 #section2 #section3 and blog (which leads to another page)

    When I am in the blog page and click to a menu item that takes me to the single page. If I use full links instead of anchors all the menu items (#section1 #section2 #section3) are active and highlighted.

    Hi,
    Please go to Admin -> Theme Options -> Custom CSS => Here put this code and update options

    nav#main-navigation .menu > li > a span.nav-line{background:#fff;}
    nav#main-navigation .menu > li > a:hover span.nav-line{background:#C51617}

    Thanks 🙂

    Thanks Mohammad. This seems to work. The only problem now is that smooth scrolling is gone and the transitions are very abrupt. How can I reenable smooth scroll?

    Also, is there a way to hide the whole header (logo and menu) on just a single page?

    Thanks again!

    The code you provided works fine to conceal the active menu items. When I undo your changes there’s still no smooth scrolling. Smooth scrolling stops working when I switch menu items from anchors ( e.g. #clients) into full links ( e.g. http://www.url.com/#clients).

    Same as here I guess.

    I can’t go live yet as there’s no hosting/domain.

    Hi,

    I’d like to get this resolved before then.

    Does smooth scroll only work with anchors and not full links in the menu? This is very strange.

    Is there a way to hide the header completely on a certain page (blog in my case) and on blog post pages?

    Thanks!
