    Hi,

    I’ve been noticing that when both Dante and Flexform generate the various product images from the feature image we specify, the filesizes for each are coming out huge. Like 600kb for 1024x1024px jpg images like the one attached, which if I were to save myself in Photoshop should barely be 60kb at 70% quality. (This is happening on a range of more photographic images too, not just drawing like this one).

    I’d say it’s like the theme’s compression is set to 100% quality, but it seems even bigger than that.

    How can this be adjusted, as it’s causing some major problems with server space / bandwidth / load times?

    Hi, so the images you are uploading are 60KB and bigger in pxs and after the regeneration they are 600KB?

    It doesn’t seem to matter what size they go in as. It’s the process that makes them massive.

    This is happening in at least 2 different builds, in both Dante and Flexform.

    Hi @ronin,

    That is very odd, and I’m certain that nothing in the theme would change the image quality from what is set in the WordPress core. Just to be sure, can you try uploading an image whilst having the Twenty Fourteen theme activated?
