  Hi,
  I have added a Mailchimp Newsletter subscription to the footer of my page. But when I adjust the width of the box for the Email address, the background seems to enlarge too so it goes beyond my right side footer. See the images below for more details.

  Is there a way I could enlarge the width of the Email address box without the background?

  Oh, and here is the code where I have specified the width:
  #mc_embed_signup{background:#f0f0f0; clear:left; font:14px Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif; width:400px}

  Not sure why you needed this css, it should already be full width like our demo?

    background: transparent!important;
  }
