  Hi,

  I’m trying to use a background image for the header and footer. Both edges have a transparent rough edge which give a nice effect on a slider image. I’ve got the footer working just fine but I’m struggling with the header.

  The image shows up fine but I can’t get rid of the white background. Images of the header problem and how it should look (like the footer.) I’m using the centered logo header.

  Any idea how I can solve this?

  Hi

  This could be quite tricky, it will need a negative margin on the header to overlap the slider

  If you could provide me with your link I will try provide you with some custom css.

  Somehow the background colour didn’t show up in header 4 so I’ve edited to my needs. It’s only for a quick holding page so it’s good enough. Thanks for replying anyways.
