  As I’m coming across issues in setting up the site, and searching the forums to see how other people resolved I am seeing a LOT of repeat posts where the final answer is “it’s a bug, it will be fixed in the next release” but only after many back and forths (and I’m sure a lot of frustration for both parties)

  I see that the Contact Form 7 issue is highlighted in the Forum but there are so many people reporting that the Minify plugins are breaking their sites. Is this a known issue? (at least once in the forum the developer ended the discussion with the “its a bug” reply.) It would be super helpful to have these things posted & highlighted somewhere so users would keep trying to fix something that we just can’t fix. I know you don’t want to showcase what things don’t work with the theme but it would be (I repeat) SUPER HELPFUL to know ahead of time NOT to use something or NOT to do something that is going to results in hours/days of frustration.

  Sorry for this ! May i know that what issues are you facing within theme ?
  1- WordPress minify dont work with child theme and its plugin issue . Yo can try this version https://github.com/OddOneOut/Better-WordPress-Minify/tree/1.3.0 .

  2- What is contact form issue ?

  The Contact Form issue that is posted at the top of *this* forum in the stickies by *your* support team. That issue.

  My main goal is to reduce the file size – esp of the CSS file as to speed up the download time of the site – and the webpage that keeps being referred to by support here to look at for how to do this is 1) old , 2) has some incorrect information and 3) recommends plug-ins that have bad reviews due to crashing people’s sites. So I want to get the download speed increased but I also don’t want to end up having to rebuild the site afterwards.

  You can use this plugin for https://github.com/OddOneOut/Better-WordPress-Minify/tree/1.3.0 to speed up website .This plugin will compress js and css files and decrease download time so you achieve your goal . And Contact form 7 is working fine with latest version of theme .
