  Hello,

  We operate a website whose content is written in Portuguese (Portugal). What we wish to do is to translate into pt_PT the front-end elements of the DANTE theme that currently appear in english, such as the “post on [date]” in [category].

  As an example, you may see this simple post http://livrept.net/noticias/9964 or view how the “recent posts” page-builder-element renders the date in english on the main page http://livrept.net (see two screenshots attached)

  We have now installed the WPML plugin, which is recommended by you as fully compatible with this theme, but are not sure how to proceed. All we need is to present all front-end content in Portuguese — the back-end can remain in english (our WP installation is in english).

  Any help is much appreciated.

  Thank you for the reply.

  The documentation does not provide the specific information needed here. The strings I am interested in translating are named as “theme swiftframework”. I operate the WPML tool for translating strings and I make use of the .po file that was found in the languages folder of DANTE. The process seems to be working properly, but my frontend still displays everything in english (as I outlined in the first entry to this thread).

  All that is needed is for the translated text from english to portuguese to appear permanently at the fronted without the user being asked to switch between languages. Towards that end, I cannot find the way to proceed and any support will be much appreciated.
