  I would really like to know how to disable the first line/words of text in a parallax image header.

  The very first word is always in CAPS.

  Where do I disable this function?

  Look at my example attachment
  The word Portfolio is in CAPS.

  I just used the editor to type it. (no not in CAPS)
  And then second line is fine.

  It’s because you are using h6 which has a text transform on it, add this custom css:

  h6 {
    text-transform: none;
  }
