    Hi Swiftideas-Team

    Thanks for for all your help and quick replies.

    I have the following problem:

    Team-Member picture is blurry and lost the color depth. I tried a lot to solve it. First i thought, the picture should not be the right size, it should be larger because of the retina displays. However i scaled it to a width of 440px . I saw on the demo site that you have 440×440.

    The problem is it makes it even bigger graphic info: 440px × 299px (Scaled to 524px × 356px). If i make it then 524px… its also blurry.

    I even put the same picture as a normal picture next to the other one, to see if that gets also blurry, but no, it is sharp.

    What do you suggest that i should do?

    Hi Melanie

    No I have not. I dont have Woocommerce installed and i thought this article is only in connetion with the Product Image Quality.

    I can not go to WooCommerce > Settings 🙂

    What do you suggest me to do? Thank you.

    Hi

    This is the issue (screenshot)

    You are uploading your team images at 440px but it is being resized to 524px that is why it is losing quality, you need to upload bigger images.

    Hi Kyle

    I had to put it in at 440px otherwise it gets very blurry.

    I put now how you wished the pictures in 524px in. Have a look, it is very blurry.

    You finde both sizes in my Media Libary.

    P.S. I know this is an other question but if you may tell me in two sentence, how i make the Team-Pictures retina ready, it would be great. Because I do not unterstand how i can put a 524px or 440px picture there in but use for example “WP retina 2x” if i am not allowed to put a to big picture there in, becauese it will make it blurry. Thank you

    It’s still using the 440px image.

    I don’t know why.

    Look at the two pictures.

    It is a picture which one is 524px.

    I’d suggest removing the smaller one which is lower down to the right.

    1. 440px picture is deleted.
    2. Cache is emptied.
    Still the same.

    Hi

    I’ve identified the issue, it runs a resize script for some reason. Please open up single-team.php and fine this line:

    <figure class="profile-image-wrap">
    					<?php $detail_image = sf_aq_resize( $member_image_url, 440, NULL, true, false); ?>

    around line 86.

    Change the value to 524, or bigger if you like.

    Thank you Kyle I changed it. It is sharp now. Super job!

    I know this is an other question but if you may tell me in two sentence, how I make the Team-Pictures retina ready, it would be great. Do I use “WP retina 2x”? Upload a big picture and it will resize it to 524?. Thank you

    – Michel
