    No, but do you think it will work with WPML plugin?
    If so, how this plugin works?
    And can I install other languages with this plugin?

    Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi

    The reason the language dropdown has ‘Demo – Example Purposes’ is because it doesn’t work. To make it work you need to either use this: http://support.swiftideas.net/knowledgebase/how-to-translate-the-theme/

    Or use the WPML plugin: http://wpml.org/

    Yes there are plenty of languages to chose from using that plugin.

    I followed Methodius PoEdit, I created language files .mo for french and English. I added (define (‘WPLANG’, ‘en_US’);) in my wp-config file. Then I removed all other languages exist, but it does not work: I always “Demo-EXAMPLE PURPOSES” on the site with languages ”german” and “spanish” I do not want.

    Then please explain me how to use POEdit to enabled languages ”French” and “English” only on my site.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Ravendt,

    That switcher only works with WPML. If you don’t have that, then please disable it in Theme Options > Header Options, it won’t work any other way.

    Add this custom css to the theme options panel:

    #header-languages li img {
    display: none;
    }
