    Hello

I don’t imagine I’ll get a reply before I have to start my site from scratch, so perhaps a heads-up to everyone rather than a support request (although if you can tell me how to disable the holding page option by editing one of the theme files that would be awesome and save me hours…).

I turned on the holding page, but also installed the Rename wp-login.php plugin.

Perhaps stupidly as it turns out because now I cannot access the page that I renamed the login to – it gives me the holding page. ๐Ÿ™

    Hi

Yes looks like you might be stuck, probably easiest thing to do is rename it back to wp-login.php and if that doesn’t work then try a fresh install.

Well, I can’t get back into the site to rename it back to wp-login.php, but I can delete the plugin folder.

But the moral of the story is don’t use Dante’s maintenance mode and this plugin at the same time! ๐Ÿ˜‰

You don’t have ftp access for the files to rename yourself?

Anyway thanks for the heads up!

Well, yes, I have ftp access – otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to delete the plugin ๐Ÿ™‚

But in any case, it’s no use keeping the plugin if there’s a conflict and I prefer to use Dante’s maintenance mode, which is pretty nifty, and easier than Ultimate Coming Soon while I’m still in production.

Anyway, there is no ‘file’ to rename – the solution is to go to the database and look for the rename the value of rwl_page in the options table, according to the plugin developer.

But thanks anyway! Have a good one.
