I downloaded the update to flexform and accedently activated it and then went back to child from older version of flexform, the version the site built on. now fonts weights aren’t the same and the footer text won’t center. I thought child themes don’t change with updates?! Sorry for any lack of info, or nativity, I’m taking over a project and am still getting used to wordpress and themes.

    Hi,

child themes don’t change upon updating the main theme, but everything that is not being changed by the child theme changes upon updating, as it’s coming through from the child theme.

If you can post up your website URL we can take a look?

    Cheers

    Hi,

    The site is cspmobile.com
I was able to fix the footer problem with code. And the functionality and design is all correct, except the header. Previously there was a phone number in the top right hand corner of the header. Now it is gone. How can I add text to the header thats not an image? The other problem refers to the Raw JS element not pulling in the data, this more clearly defined in the other post. Sorry for the multiple posts.

    Hi there,

If you enable the top bar, you can set text into the “Top bar social icon config” box, then set the menu to be on the left and the text will show the opposite side.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi

No thats not what I’m looking for, I want to be able to have the text in the header not the top bar.

Is this something that needs to be added in the .php?

Hi, that must be something you customized yourself, so you would need to make those changes again I suppose!
