  Hi,
  For Sidebar
  Try adding the attached template to the parent/child theme. This should work for smaller sidebars. If you want you can always copy the code (removing the template name at the top) to the page.php file.

  For header height
  Please put this code at Admin -> Theme Options -> Custom Css
  .page-heading.fancy-heading{height:120px}/*here you can increase or decrease height */

  Hope it will really help you . please take a backup of files before making changes .
