    How do I change the width of the side bar?

    The sidebar is too wide and needs to be made modified

    Hi,
    Try adding the following attached template to the parent/child theme. This should work for smaller sidebars. If you want you can always copy the code (removing the template name at the top) to the page.php file.

    This template didn’t work. It made the site super wide and didn’t fix the sidebar issue on my install…just FYI

    I did the upgrade and I’m still experiencing the issue. Any ideas? Also, in another post there was information on how to change the default sidebar for blog posts using the “Blog Meta” area. I do not have this area in within my “Theme Options”. Please advise. See attached screenshot.

    I have fixed it by putting some css at Admin -> Theme Options -> Custom CSS ->
    #main-container{padding:0px 20px}
