Hi,
I am trying to translate the page-builder through the codestyling localization, but I cant seem to get this to work. When I find the desired translation and then hit “generate mo-file” nothing seems to happen. I can see an error in the top: http://screencast.com/t/aKST5Imj25wH – What does this mean? All the files that are listed in this error are not translateable it seems like.
I dont want to hard-code translate the files since that would be erased every time I update the theme.
Thanks in advance.

This is likely a server or file permissions issue. The Screenshot of the error i believe has nothing to do with not being able to save the .mo file .All the Best
-TahirJanuary 27, 2014 at 12:13 pm #44977Ok, but why do you think it works to translate the actual theme and not the other files?
The theme file “swiftframework” Im able to translate. This file is not a part of that error. But for example “swift-page-builder” im not able to translate.
I have tried file permissions. I cant understand how it can be a server issue, as other files can be translated without any problems.
Can you give it a try?

January 27, 2014 at 6:47 pm #45104Hi Tommy,
We’ve changed this for the next update, the page builder will now use the “swift-framework-admin” domain, and you can add this file within /swift-framework/language.
What language are you translating too? We’d really appreciate you sending it over once you’ve finished so that we can include it!
Thanks,
– Ed
January 27, 2014 at 6:52 pm #45105Ok, sounds great. When is the next update coming out?
Translating to norwegian, so will definitely send it over ๐
One other thing. Had a customer on a samsung galaxy note 3 that had some trouble pushing the mobile menu http://screencast.com/t/g7jU5dEAKb5. It didnt work pushing it. Nothing happened. Have the same problem if I drag my browser into “responsive view” in Google Chrome(latest version), like the screencast, on a Mac.
Works on my iphone though.
Any ideas what it can be/solution?
Tommy

March 5, 2014 at 2:41 pm #54537Hi again,
I have updated to theme version 2.15(I know 2.16 is out), but I still get this error when trying to translate the pagebuilder: http://screencast.com/t/4RG0eZWPpNb2
Those textdomains in that list are not translateable.
What can I do?
Tommy

March 7, 2014 at 11:49 am #55415Hi again,
Now I have updated to the latest version, but I’m still not able to translate the builder.
If you take a look here, you can see the same error in the top, and the translation I have made: http://screencast.com/t/P5sU18bQV5
That should translate this: http://screencast.com/t/DxBuoXUVKr
Any clue? :-/
March 7, 2014 at 3:05 pm #55487I did however manage to translate the page builder through FTP, and PO/MO editor and adding my own nb_NO file to the “language” folder.
