    Hi Ed,

    I’m really struggling to get Dante looking how it needs to be for my site. Can I just check with you that there is no way to restrict the boxed width of the template to – say 1000px?

    Hi, since the theme relies on a grid system you would need to modify the css in order to change the widths.

    Just to follow up on this: you can deactivate responsiveness and then restrict the width to a 1000px, but if you want to keep responsiveness you’d need to modify the css.

    Cheers

    HI Melanie,

    I’ve tried modifying the css but it seems not to work.

    Do you have any examples – retaining responsiveness – about how to restrict the boxed version to a maximum width?

    Hi

    Our themes are built on the bootstrap framework: http://getbootstrap.com/css/

    I would get yourself familiar with it before trying to edit the widths.

    Hi @luminosity,

    You could test out the following custom css, but bear in mind that you may come across some issues.

    .container, .navbar-static-top .container, .navbar-fixed-top .container, .navbar-fixed-bottom .container {
    	width: 1000px;
    }

    Unfortunately authors aren’t able to process refunds, you would need to go to Envato support – http://support.envato.com/

    Hope that helps.

    – Ed
