  Hi everyone,

  I got a bug with the parallax with Safari 6.0 and less, on the homepage of my website here :
  http://corporate.profilplus.oyez.fr/

  Parallaxe don’t work and pictures are not loading correctly.

  I don’t understand why, and there is no problem with parallaxe on the parallaxe demo page : http://dante.swiftideas.net/parallax-page-demo/

  Anyone got an idea ?

  Same thing here with parallax bug with Safari

  After opening an image in the lightbox, clicking out of lightbox, then scrolling back up the page, the background for the parallax is just gone. I tried this on the full width and boxed views for the page… same issue.

  Hi Flexweb,

  Which version of the theme are you using? In the parallax asset, what setting do you have it set to? Scroll/Fixed etc.

  Hi guys – I also have this problem

  I noticed my parallax section wasn’t showing on Safari and Chrome so checked the demo Dante site and it also didn’t work.

  This is a problem and I saw a few other posts on here as well complaining about it.

  See Safari screesnhots attached.

  The question is, what other browsers / devices does this not work on and is there a fix?

  are there known problems with any other browsers or devices? As you know you can’t risk having something not work and then the client gets the ump….

  Safari v5.X is a known buggy browser, and used by less than 0.5% of users. Supporting this browser would mean drastically reducing the themes functionality, and something we aren’t prepared to do for so little users.

  Chrome should be fine though, can you link me to your site to check? Using Chrome here (exact same version) on the demo and it’s perfect.

  Very odd – but this custom css should fix it, add the following to the custom css box within Theme Options:

  .spb_parallax_asset {
  position: static;
  }

  Fantastic! Thanks for letting us know.

  That’s a confirmed Chrome bug which bugs out every time css animation is used. Hope they will fix it soon!
