    I guess its when share this is not responding loading my site is just a blank white screen loading eternally waiting for share this. When I press stop (in chrome) the whole page comes up fully loaded except the share this bar.

    Removing the share this bar is not a solution because I want the functions it gives on the site (when it is working). Even when share this is not working the rest of the page should load without it.

    How shall we fix this?

    are you referring to a plugin? If so, could you contact the plugin developers please?

    No, I am referring to share this the function that makes the social bar between the bottom of the post and the top of the comments.

    Hi,

    The ShareThis functionality does not depend on the theme or on your server – it depends on ShareThis’ service. If the request takes too long because their service is busy, there’s nothing we can really do about it…

    Yah I now but it would be much better if when the service is busy the rest of the page would load around it, so the share this bar would not load but everything else would. As it is when their service is busy its the same is if the whole website has crashed, nothing loads at all.

    ShareThis is a plugin added to the theme, it’s not something we created. So this isn’t really possible, it would be like asking to customize the Javascript from the Twitter widget embeds on our own, to detect when Twitter is down 🙂
