  Hi there,

  I used child theme but when i update new version of theme, all my previous settings gone.. footer, fonts, etc..

  How can figure out this next updates..

  Hi,

  The theme updates don’t change anything in the database where the theme options are stored so that situation seems strange, they only update files in the filesystem.

  In the next update before updating can you contact us so we can look at it before and after the update?

  I checked but it’s in Turkish and even in English is difficult to tell. What I know is what I told above, nothing in the theme update would change any theme option.

  Hi,

  The theme update will not loose any changes, assuming you have not modified the actual core theme files. Changes like that should be in a child theme.

  How can i update right way could you tell me?

  Also is there any options update automaticly?

  My update way, go to envato username and than downloads section than download atelier files.. after that?

  You need to place the translation files in the child theme.
  Inside the child theme create a directory called ‘languages’ and place there the language files .po and .mo

  Inside the functions.php add this line of code

  load_child_theme_textdomain( 'swiftframework', get_stylesheet_directory() . '/languages' );

  The best way to update is in Appearance-> Themes and press the update button of the active theme.
