    Hey,

I think there’s an FAQ module for the SPB, but is there any way to use it with the VC? I need to use VC to be able to do custom product pages but I’d like to use the FAQs too. Is there a shortcode or anything similar?

    Thanks,
    Frank

    Hi,

Sure, guess the better way is to create a new SPB Section. In the SPB Section you can use the Swift page builder and add the Faqs or whatever content you need. Save the SPB section and change to Classic editor, and copy the current content.

You can also use the shortcode of that section instead of the shortcode of the content inside the SPB Section.

    [spb_section spb_section_id="35" width="1/1" el_position="first last"]

Just replace the 35 by your spb section ID(you can see the id in the url when editing the SPB Section)

    Hi Rui,

just to make sure: So there’s not other way to use the FAQ then going this weird route via the SPB sections? We’re not using the SPB at all otherwise so I would really like to avoid doing it that way.

    Thanks,
    Frank

It’s the necessary route to keep the content and be able to manage it later. Keeping it saved in a SPB Section(or Templaterra in VC) let’s you change it later if you want to.

You can do it in a draft page or don’t save anything at all, just drop the asset and edit the settings when you are done just change to the classic editor and grab the shortcode.

I’m still confused. So just to be clear: There is no shortcode to simply place the FAQs without the SPB?

    You can use this code.
    [spb_faqs category="All" width="1/1" el_position="first last"]

To get that code I added the FAQS using the page builder and changed to classic editor and copied the shortcode(like I told before)

Ok, but this needs the page builder beeing activated, right? Because this shortcode doesn’t work without the page builder active on our site.

yes, it needs to be active but you can remove all the Page builder post types and that way you won’t see the button for our page builder.
