    Hi!

I’m trying to use Super Search, and I’ve added three filters. However, when I use the search widget and click on one of the options, i.e art.nr and press the button for search, I am redirected to the start page. At least I should end up on a search landing page? But most of all, I should go to the product that I searched for?

Ok, but if I don’t want the look of the shop (I am only using the SPB widget “products” on different pages), I can’t use the Super Search? I just want to be able to search for attributes …
I tried to set up a test page as a shop page, but there are no products and no search results.

Can you disable all plugins so only WooCommerce & Swift Framework are active whilst we look for you.

I am unable to do that right now – it would cause way too much loss of content and settings. Are there no other way to make sure one can search for attributes?

We need to do that test to figure what is going on. You won’t lose any settings or data when you disable the plugins.
We can deactivate it and test if you give us the permission.

The Super Search does direct to the correct page:

Are you not able to obtain any matched results?

I am not able to find any matching results. That is the purpose of the function …

Yes indeed it is. I suspect your child theme has caused this.

    Please re-test now, I searched for 24-044-88

Thank you! The child theme – it is the one that came with the theme purchase … Should it not work then?
Will I not loose information when there is a theme update if I don’t have a child theme? I had to change the layout of the product page, and that was made in the child theme “content-single-product.php”, so now when it’s deactivated, that’s gone … What do I do?

Yes, it comes with the theme. But you have added custom files to it that override the parent theme defaults.

Your right to use a child theme. However if the parent theme is updated, you need to check to be sure the files you are overriding have not been changed. If they have you need to update your child theme files.

    Thanks.

I found the problem. The correct search result url was http://ceenorm.linohalm.se/cee-norm-produkter/?filter_art-nr=XXXX, but when I used the Super Search widget, the url was http://ceenorm.linohalm.se/sv/cee-norm-produkter/?filter_art-nr=XXXX (added the /sv/). So when I used a 301 redirect for that url, it worked.
