  Hi there,

  LOVE Uplift!

  Our homepage contains a video background (2 seconds looped) – when I view the site on a tablet or smartphone the video does not load, only a coloured background.

  Is there a setting I can change to allow video to load on mobile devices as well.

  Also – with slow connections the video takes a while to load (less than 1 Mb) – is it possible to show a background photo while the video loads?

  Hi,

  Glad you are enjoying Uplift.

  In mobile it’s not possible to autoplay videos so you need to you use an image instead, there is an option in the settings.

  At the moment isn’t possible to load the image before the video, will forward your suggestion to the development team.

  Thank you Rui. I have uploaded and image instead – however it repeats (see attachment), I do have it set to Background Image size: COVER and Mobile Background image horizontal align: CENTER

  On an unrelated issue: Google Maps on our Contact Us Page (http://www.hydra-arc.com/contact-us/) gives me an error message. Any input would be much appreciated

  Add the code below to your custom css option.

  .home .swiper-slide.video-slide.dynamic-header-change.swiper-slide-visible.swiper-slide-active {
      background-repeat: no-repeat;
  }

  Regarding the map now google maps requires an api key that is associated with your site.

  Check inside the SwiftFramework plugin, there is an option called Google Auth, read the instructions and register you site and get a user/key from google maps.

  Is there a way on Mobile to only show the image size and not the extra space above and below the image (see attachment).

  Modern mobile browsers seem to support autoplay video already. Will there be an update to support that?
