  I would like to ask about the child theme and the update override.

  I have installed dante theme and work on the main theme(not child).

  I have made changes to css changes and changes on theme files like the maps.

  Looking at file structure of the child theme it contains only functions and css.

  How could i make sure the theme files i have modify will not loose the changes after update since child theme does not carry those

  Hi,

  You will need to move those modifications to the child theme. And place the css inside the style.css of the child theme.

  Yes keep the same paths, but sometimes it may be not enough depending if a specific file is included by any other file.

  You need to search for the name of a modified file inside all the theme content, if you find that a specific file is included by other file then you also have to move that file.
