  Hi,

  I have uploaded nl_NL.po and .mo in the /wp-content/themes/neighborhood/language folder. However, after an update I lose these files. I activated the child theme and tried to mirror the language folder in the neighborhood-child folder, but this isn’t working.

  Could you please provide detailed instructions how to keep the translated files after an update using the child theme? Thanks

  Hi,

  Before updating make sure you backup anything and everything, you can use the child theme like this for Internationalization http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes#Internationalization

  our text domain is swiftframework

  Try this and let me know, just a suggest I am not familiar with child themes that much.
