Hi, Needless to say I am very annoyed. Switching between the classic editor and swift page builder and then back again deletes all the content I had placed in the page before switching to the swift editor. So I had a new page all laid out in the classic editor. I wanted to insert a divider so I switched to the swift Page builder, inserted my divider and when I switched back to the classic editor all my hard work had been erased! Gone! Just a divider left on the page. Why are all the elements not available via the ‘insert shortecode’ menu.? Why do I have to switch between editors for some elements.?

I am already annoyed with this theme enough because it would not import all the content from my old site without issues with saving meta data (see this thread: http://support.swiftideas.net/forums/topic/page-metaoptions-wont-save-driving-me-nuts/page/2/).

So now I have been told I have to recreate all my pages again and then it gives me problems when I do that. Close to asking for a refund and moving on to a different theme. One that is less buggy!

    Hi,

I forward this to the developer, to show some insight, in the mean time could you pass the WP Login details in a private reply..

Also make sure this is not due to any plugin (deactivate it and try), also the theme is up-to-date.

    Thanks,
    laranz.

    Hi @darrenjforde,

Can I ask what content you had added to the classic editor before switching? The way the page builder works, and to make it as clean as possible, the content which isn’t recognised as within a page builder shortcode is removed on save if the page builder mode is enabled. Otherwise there could be issues with erroneous shortcodes or corruptions. If you check your page revisions, you should be able to get your content that you lost.

I was unaware that there pages you couldn’t save meta options on were imported pages. Were they imported before or after the theme was activated?

    Let us know.

    – Ed
