  Hi there!

  I switched from a custom theme to Dante. As the topic says already, headings from old posts do not appear on the post pages.

  Theme Options > Default Meta Options > Default Show Page Heading is “On”

  As soon as I edit the post in the backend and save/update the post (without any other changes), the heading appears. Seems like it does not load the title automatically from the database.
  I already searched the support forum and found some similar issues, but I couldn’t find a answer to the problem. Could you help me with this issue? As I have 1000+ posts, I have to find a way to automatize it.

  Hi,

  Can you try to quick edit several posts and check if it also updates?

  If it works you can change the number of posts displaying in the posts page(top right corner) to 200 and you can do it in 5/6 times.

  Sorry we don’t work with remote sessions.
  Let’s try to overwrite that option by rewriting the function that builds the heading.

  Add the code in the link below to the functions.php of your Dante Child theme.
