the subscribe newsletter bar doesnt work with aweber raw code or javascipt. Also i tried with gravityforms shortcode but still doesnt show.

Can you provide more details as to what you mean, doesn’t work? The theme option simply outputs the code to the page and does not alter the code in anyway.

Would it be difficult to add a book cover to the black subsribe bar so people can see what they are getting when they sign up ?
for example i would like the black subscribe bar to be their but have a small image of the book cover they are getting by subscribing to be on the left hand side …

Unfortunately that would be pretty complex, and is not within our scope of support. I recommend hiring a freelance developer to help you with this if you need to make that customisation
