    Hello – noticing that my header slider on the home/front page – no matter what height I set it to – will inconsistently have a 1 pixel white line at the bottom of it. Seems to always be there on its ‘animation’ fade from slide to slide – and then at different browser dimensions randomly.

    I tried setting different heights, and the slide backgrounds all to black – but no luck.

    Hi

    I’m unable to replicate: http://d.pr/i/11Kwo/5aa1wHYE

    Does it happen all the time for you on different window sizes?

    I can replicate this now and your other issue on IE 13, 14.

    I am not currently sure of a fix for this, nothing I have tested is suitable to fix that.

    I’ll need to chat this over with the team to look for an alternative.

    Thanks,
    David.

    Hi,

    Unfortunaly this is a known issue of isotope: https://github.com/metafizzy/isotope/issues/916#issuecomment-108899516.

    likely due to sub-pixel rendering differences between browsers.

    A possible workaround for IE is this CSS:

    .browser-ie .portfolio-items.no-gutters > li {
    border: solid .5px #000;
    }

    Thanks David – doesn’t seem to fix it. In fact if I set it even to 8px it doesn’t seem to change anything? Tried adding !important – but no changes to the page. I’m thinking it might fix it if it actually would affect it.

    Hmmm yeah I can see the single pixel white horizontal lines appearing in your screen cast.
    Check above the ‘force awakens’ title thumbnail and the starkiller base hologram at the end.

    I see, like a split second flash right?

    Not sure what can be done about this if anything. Will need to investigate further.

    Yes! The flashes – sometimes they hang around – sometimes it’s just on animation – sometimes it’s just on resize – but all in all the end result just looks like it’s broken – made of jumbled bricks. So thanks for investigating!
