    hi guys

I have this weird look to the swift editor elements. no matter what they are, they show as you see in the screenshots and once they open I can’t cancel or save, they stay on the page and the only solution is to refresh the window in order to get them off the screen. The page works well on the front end but I can’t edit any elements.

Other pages that I have build with visual composer are fine.

I have disabled all the plugins we have except for swift framework and that did not solve the problem. I have updated the theme to the latest version (via updates screen in wordpress) but that did not solve the problem.

Please let me know what is conflicting with swift even when there are no plugins enabled.

    Thanks
    Ovi

    Hi,

Can you provide admin access to have a look?
It seems that it can be something with the tinymce text editor.

    Use the private reply.

    Hi Ovi,

Which page or post are you testing this, can you link me to it?

Any of the pages that have been built with Swift page builder… for example About or Framing pages.

Please note these are active on the site, so please don’t make any changes. Thank you!

Actually I have created a test page for you called Test Page

If you add any Swift element to do with the text editor you will see the problem

    Hi,

There are many JS errors relating to this:

In most cases this is caused by a 3rd party plugin or server configuration.

What is the scope for you to disable all plugins leaving only Swift Framework, VC and WooCommerce active?

    Thanks.

    Hi

As I said in my original thread post I have disabled all plugins and that did not fix the problem.
What kind of server settings should I check?

    Thanks

    Hi,

As I cannot replicate the issue on my dev version I need you to leave the plugins deactivated whilst we look into this.

    Thanks.

Hi please find a time slot when it’s night time here in Perth, Western Australia. I don’t know where you guys are located, but maybe there is a way to login when it’s night time here, then you can disable what you need. Please actiate the plugins back when you are done. I think that’s a more sensible solution rather than me deactivating the plugins and waiting for you guys to go in… it will basically deactivate the site and I can’t do that.

Forgot to mention it is getting quite urgent now… I have changes to do to the website and I can’t move on.

Oh and as you were saying it’s definitely a tinymce thing as it also is happening in visual composer.

    thanks

I need you to do it, we will assist you as a priority.

Leaving Woo + SF active will keep the site functioning.

I’ll do it now, although as explained above, I have disabled everything before with no luck.

Anyway, are you available to help now?

Let me know when you’re ready, I’ll stay online and then I’ll get in and disable the plugins for you to see.

I’m fairly sure this will be a permission issue, can you report these back to your host and ask them to check the root WordPress folder and the plugin folders have the right permissions? The resources are not being loaded, yet they are there on your server:

Please ask your host for any related error logs.

    Thanks.
