    Hi there,

    I am having trouble with getting high res on my category pages for my photos. I don’t know if I touched something in the settings, but on many computers the photos appear blurry. They are fine once you click into the actual product. See attached photo. Otherwise, you are welcome to login to my backend and see if i did something wrong with the settings.

    Thank you!

    Hi

    What are your image size settings in the WooCommerce Settings?

    Hi,

    It looks like the images initially uploaded are too small. They look to be 300×300 with no larger sizes?

    Is that correct when you uploaded them?

    Thanks.

    Hmm no because the photos I have uploaded are like 1000 x 1000. Is some setting preventing it from showing the larger resolution?

    If you install and activate the supplied child theme, within the child theme functions.php file, please test adding this:

    function disable_srcset( $sources ) {
    return false;
    }
    add_filter( ‘wp_calculate_image_srcset’, ‘disable_srcset’ );

    300×300 is to small, you should increase those sizes to at least 450 x 450 if you’re using a 3 col layout

    Then you will need to use the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin and regen thumbnails

    By regenerating, will that decrease the size of the photos in general? all the photos are currently 1000×1000 uploaded to wordpress.

    No regenerating will change the 300×300 thumbnails to the new size settings

    Question. So what specs do you recommend for these?

    Not those, I’m referring to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display
