Hi,
my admin dashboard is totally messed up. It used to work for months without a single problem. I installed wordpress to a new subdirectory (both 4.1.3 and 4.5.3 same problem), new mysql database (imported data), installed cardinal theme (1.95 and newest update), deactivated all plugins. I tried it with different browsers (empty cache), sometimes it worked on a different computer as soon as I logged out, and logged in I had the same problem. When I delete all wordpress files (except wp-content) and reupload them to the current folder, and log in via /wp-admin wordpress updates database and everything works fine for some time. I’ve attached two screenshots.
PHP Version 5.6
Memory Limit 140 MB
Debug No errors, in admin dashboard: Your session has expired. Please log-in again
Plugins: Contact Form 7, Yoast SEO, Mailchimp for WordPress (all deactivated)Thank you for your help in advance

June 29, 2016 at 5:32 pm #278187Something is wrong, maybe your server has some wrong settings or it was compromised in an hacker attack.
You should contact your hosting support to see what can they find, since this isn’t theme related. You should always use the latest WordPress version to also avoid security issues.

Don’t clone the site, else the database will still reference the WP core files that exist outside the sub directory installation.
This is not related to the theme file. Install a fresh WP copy (not cloned) using the latest WP core version.

June 29, 2016 at 6:37 pm #278200David,
thank you. I have just installed a fresh WP copy to the sub directory /test via my hosting provider. I have selected an easy install (installs WP to selected sub directory, and creates mysql database automatically, wp-config.php is updated)
Still the same problem. No file migration from a previous WP folder, or from a sql database?

Is Twenty16 active? You will need to contact your hosting provider to resolve this.
Thanks,
David.June 29, 2016 at 6:56 pm #278210Yes. Twenty16 is active. And the site works perfectly fine. As soon as I try to log in to the admin dashboard. Same problem.
I will contact my hosting provider.Thank you
