  Notice: get_current_theme is deprecated since version 3.4! Use wp_get_theme() instead.

  I’ve been debugging today…. and I got this warning.
  My site is running fine and I know it’s just a warning,
  I’m at WP 3.6.1 running Pinpoint 1.5.5
  Any ideas why this is happening?

  We use wp_get_theme only. In which file, in which location you got that warning?

  it’s coming from the wp-includes/functions.php file , in the WP core.

  I checked the WP forums and they sent me back to you because it’s a commercial theme,
  any ideas what’s triggering it?

  Hi,

  We didn’t use “get_current_theme” anywhere in the theme, try disabling all plugins and try debugging, and let me know whats the status. Make sure the theme is up-to-date.

  @henrycullen – This is likely to be coming from a plugin, as Laranz said, we don’t have this function anywhere in the theme files!
