  Hi there,

  How do I avoid the Gravatar and Emoji call? And How can I use Font Awesome and Google fonts without doing the calls and keep it on my own server?

  1. Gravatar is used to show the blog post author image. Please consider this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/fv-gravatar-cache/

  2. The Emoji call is the default WP editor. You can use this plugin to disable it: https://wordpress.org/plugins/disable-emojis/

  3. FontAwesome is loaded without a server call, it’s loaded into the theme as standard. You may find you see this from a 3rd party plugin or your own modifications.

  4. If you really wanted to do this, download the font zip and upload it to Theme Options => Fonts. However loading the font file would still take ms as would loading an external resource.
