Hi,
I have a 500 error after updating to 2.1.0 on my website with PHP 7.0.7.
It was working fine with version 2.0 of the theme.
You can try accessing the admin and see the error. On PHP 5.6.22 it works fine. This is a test website so I’ll leave it on PHP 7.0.7 so you can see the problem.
Do you have any idea how I could fix that?
Thanks!
June 2, 2016 at 7:21 am #271888Hi,
Please upgrade to latest version 2.1.1 to resolve the issue.
Thanks
MohammadJune 2, 2016 at 2:12 pm #272064Hi Mohammad,
It’s still the same. I updated to 2.1.1 and it doesn’t work with PHP 7. I get a 500 error…
When I tried on 5.6.22 it works. The site is still on PHP 7, do you want me to leave it like this so you can test?
Thanks

June 2, 2016 at 2:58 pm #272080Something strange I tried the latest Atelier in a PHP 7 Server without any issue.
It seems your error logs will only be updated later tonight, we will need to wait to see the errors that happened today so we can understand what is causing that.
Now you can login because the theme is inactive, I notice you have some cache directories in the site install, try also to disable those.

I was using Atelier 2.0 on PHP 7 without any problems…
Do you have any ideas?[Thu Jun 02 15:31:02.826882 2016] [:notice] [pid 28317] [client 85.242.141.17:50553] mod_hive matched URI http://www.flycie.com/wp-login.php (/home/flycie81/public_html/wp-login.php) with match 2, referer: http://www.flycie.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.flycie.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 [Thu Jun 02 15:17:43.744492 2016] [:notice] [pid 44250] [client 95.138.104.226:40783] mod_hive matched URI http://www.flycie.com/wp-login.php (/home/flycie81/public_html/wp-login.php) with match 2, referer: http://www.flycie.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.flycie.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 [Thu Jun 02 15:11:03.876542 2016] [:notice] [pid 8190] [client 95.138.104.226:35078] mod_hive matched URI http://www.flycie.com/wp-login.php (/home/flycie81/public_html/wp-login.php) with match 2, referer: http://www.flycie.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fflycie.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1 [Thu Jun 02 15:09:35.385734 2016] [:notice] [pid 328] [client 95.138.104.226:55650] mod_hive matched URI http://www.flycie.com/wp-login.php (/home/flycie81/public_html/wp-login.php) with match 2, referer: http://www.flycie.com/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fflycie.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1

Now I only have one line (see attached). What should I do? This is just a test website but my “real” website has the same configuration. It works fine on PHP 7 and Atelier 2.0 but I can’t update if the theme doesn’t work…

It could be something on that server settings.-Rui
June 2, 2016 at 6:37 pm #272160Ok no problem I’ll post a new update tomorrow!
ThanksJune 2, 2016 at 7:05 pm #272161Hi again Rui,
I asked SiteGround to investigate on their end to see if the problem could be on the server side. They say it’s theme related… Attached is the response they gave me…
Did you test the theme on PHP 7.0.7 which released last week? (PHP 7.0.7)
Thanks!

It’s wrong to get to that conclusion by just switching the themes. Like I said in my PHP7 runs fine.
Manage to figure out that the error is coming from our plugin SwiftFramework. Will try to replicate in mine and let you know the result.

June 3, 2016 at 10:44 am #272248that php versions is too recent and isn’t any Mamp stack with that php version so I can download it and test it.
You need to revert that version down to 7.0 while there aren’t enough conditions to test it.https://www.mamp.info/en/downloads/

June 3, 2016 at 1:46 pm #272318Hi Rui,
I can’t revert to PHP 7.0.6. SiteGround has only made 7.0.7 available as they say it’s more stable that 7.0.6. But Atelier 2.0 was working fine on 7.0.7 can you send me the theme files for Atelier 2.0 so I can revert to that version while you mange to find the error in the swift framework?
Thanks
