    Hey Guys,

I would like to improve the search functionality of our site (now the search shows all products) no matter what you fill in. Is this a problem from Woocommerce itself?

Anyways; I read on the forum that Relevanssi is a good alternative: https://wordpress.org/support/view/plugin-reviews/relevanssi

Can I get it to work within the normal searchbar from Atelier?
    thanks,

    Joost

    Hi,
Woocommerce search within product titles. You can use the Relevanssi plugin to get the desire results.
    Thanks

    Hey Mohammad!

Thanks for your reply. I’ve read a post from david and he said that there needs to be some customization done?
But that’s not the case then? Just install and done?

    Thanks\

    Hi,

Yes, customisation does need to be done to fully integrate the plugin. The plugin is very powerful and as such requires some reading to be sure the plugins settings are correct.

The main modification is search result count, it need’s needs to be changed. Ie, 0 Results will always show, even if there are results returned, full article: https://www.relevanssi.com/knowledge-base/found-posts/

Please read up on their KB: http://www.relevanssi.com/category/knowledge-base/.

    Thanks,
    David.

    Hey David,

Thanks for the quick follow up. Ok I understand.
But I do not need to code a new search form in the header or something? In other words; the plugin works with the existing search box?

    Thanks!
    Joost

    Hi Joost,

The standard search boxes yes, I could not guarantee the AJAX search though as this is totally different.

    Thanks.

You have Relevanssi enabled? Disable that and clear your cache.

    Thanks,
    David.
