  There is a company asking for the possibility of such a banner on our site and im not sure how to add content on the free space in a boxed layout.

  Theres a picture of the sites layout as attachment.

  Now I understand what you mean, it’s not possible with the theme to add banners on those places.
  Maybe there is some 3rd party plugin that does it, altough I searched a bit on the web and couldn’t find anything that does it.
