  Trying to reduce page load speeds, when we install Autoptimize and try to minify html and css, cardinal crashes and the site doesn load.

  Is this normal?

  Is there a minify program that is better suited to Cardinal?

  Hi,

  Cardinal has already minified versions by default, you can turn it on in the theme Performance Options.

  Is the reason that we are crashing because we are trying to minify something that has already been minified?

  If we elect to go with a third party plug in, do we first need to turn off the built in minifying by cardinal?
  Will we be ok then?

  Honestly if it is already minified by us don’t see any vantage since the process is similar and the result of the minimification will be the same.
  We can’t guarantee the results of a third party minification.
