    Hi – We just need instructions for changing text color in header photo.
    Tried “page title text color” but it doesn’t show up on page reload.
    thanks

    Hi,
    Please use this custom css code:-

    .fancy-heading.fancy-image.light-style h1, .fancy-heading.fancy-image.light-style h3 {
        color: #ff0000 !important;
    }

    Thanks

    Do you want us to add the code to the child theme? where exactly?
    and why is code needed = why is the page builder function to choose color for the text not working?

    Please add this code always Admin > Theme Options > Custom CSS.

    Does the method you suggest place code in the child theme AyurMama and protect it from getting lost in updates?

    You can add to either child theme css or theme options, neither will be overwritten during theme updates

    Hmmm… We’re not seeing the same path you indicate.
    >>”Please add this code always Admin > Theme Options > Custom CSS.”<<

    ADMIN – Guessing you mean log into wordpress?
    THEME OPTIONS – You mean APPEARANCE>THEMES ?
    CUSTOM CSS – You mean APPEARANCE> THEMES> EDITOR?

    And if this is the case, where in the child theme (in which section) should the code be placed?

    Thanks for making this clear.

    Hi,

    It is exactly like Mohammad avised.
    Admin-> Theme options-> Custom css

    And paste the code he provided

    Example of my dev site:

    Ok – we found Theme Options and pasted the code at the end of Custom CSS/JS.
    What does the red “X” indicate?

    Does the text color selection tool no longer work?
    The color we selected (#ff6666) isn’t loading.
    We need this function to work correctly on all pages. Please advise.

    That’s because you’re using the fancy page title, those options only apply to the standard page title

    OK – Is there a guide we can refer to for these kinds of simple settings?
