    Hello
I have installed the latest version of WordPress, Cardinal and all associated plugins without much of a problem, but I need to install the ‘Photography Two’ demo. The ‘theme settings’ uploaded fine, but when I want to add all the theme demo data (pictures/pages), I just see the progress page continuously running. It’s been on for about an hour so far and still no change! I have set the PHP memory allocation to 256mb, and added the PHP line into my config to allocate 256mb, but still no joy. Am I able to download these demo files somewhere and install manually?

    Hope you can help

    Many thanks.

    Hi,

You server is generating an 500 Internal server error.

Can you try to check your server error logs to see if there is any detailed message about the error?
    Do you have disk space?

Hi there. thanks for the info. The error that was coming back was:

mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Fatal error: Class ‘DOMDocument’ not found in /var/www/vhosts/avalanchebikes.co.uk/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/cardinal-importer/parsers.php on line 61, referer: http://www.avalanchebikes.co.uk/wp-admin/admin.php?import=swiftdemo&step=1&demoid=20&democontent=yes

So I looked on the PHP server settings and activated the ‘DOM’ object, and it worked! I can’t really explain the 500 error – the logs showing it was reset by peer, but I just kept trying and it all eventually worked ok. All the demo data is in there now.

    Thanks for your time.
