  Hi,

  I cant seem to add any text, links nothing at all to my footer..

  In Appearance > Widgets I dont have a Footer Widget…

  What to do?

  Hi, you just need to make sure that you didn’t modify any of the theme files, because you will lose those customizations upon updating. Besides that all should be fine 🙂

  I think I had the same issue as other re: Updating – i.e. I clicked update but its still showing 1.5.2 – BUT anyway, my original issue remains (this is a new install btw) – I dont have a a footer widget.

  Hi Jason,

  I just went in and added a text widget to one of your Footer Sidebars, in Appearance/Widgets – seems to be working perfectly fine.

  The footer sidebars are there: http://cl.ly/image/1r2u230t3o0w

  Maybe you confused widgets with sidebars? A widget is a piece of content, that goes inside an area that is the sidebar. One sidebar can host multiple widgets.
