How do I make a coming soon page without header and footer or any links to a menu – I have read something about using a holding page template, but I am not sure how to or where to find this?

Hi

When editing/creating a page, on the right hand side you will see ‘Template’ select either holding page or No Header/No Footer

Then in Theme Options > Maintenance set the page to custom and select your page
