  I am having massive problems getting the page builder to work –

  Nowhere on my wordpress is there a Framework menu that gives me the option to turn on or off the page builder, I assume this is because my framework is version 1.32? I THINK I have downloaded the more recent version, but when i try to update it it says ‘this file already exists’ (or words to that effect). On top of this, im uncertain as to whether this is the reason why my pagebuilder is working or not?

  On another slightly unrelated note, and one that may seriously reveal my lack of awareness – should I be using the child theme or not?

  I have used cardinal before with a friend, I am now using it for my site, but I am having some massive problems!?

  I hope someone can help!!!

  Please go to Admin > Dashboard > Updates > Here you can upgrade all plugins.

  I have clicked update all plugins and since that the framework is still version 1.32? And I assume as a result the page builder still does not work?

  Hi

  You will either need to delete that version and upload the new version, or use FTP to upload the new version and overwrite the old files

  How do I delete the original? Or how do I use the FTP thing?

  I am trying to use the FTP client, but I am struglging to connect it with the site, and have got nowhere with this?

  Adding a reply will take your topic back in the queue – as per our Support Policy.

  If you aren’t ok with using FTP. Then the easiest way to update the plugin will be to delete it completely from the Plugins admin, and then re-installing it through Appearance > Install Plugins.

  I’ve logged into your site, but Cardinal is no longer there – so I can’t proceed.

  Hi,
  You can use any theme. Its a good practice to use child theme if you make any changes in theme.
