Hi,
I have difficulties in getting the product masonry grid to fit properly. What are your recommended image sizes for standard, tall and large images in the masonry grid?March 30, 2016 at 6:49 pm #258840Take a look here: http://norinori.greatsimple.com/product-category/toej/
I mean: It looks awful. Why doesn’t it add up to 100% for each row?
March 31, 2016 at 6:23 am #258878Hello again,
I checked base masonry script and didnt see option here to fit bottom of the page. Your script just try to reduce blank spaces in the middle e.g. I can certainly create a page where all our images will look good, but only if I carefully check each position and set needed size to each image to best fit this order. So in static this product masonry grid does look great, but if I add any new products it will break layout.@ed, I don’t understand why you have this as part of your shop options? I mean – in a shop there will be new products.
It seems rather strange that the sneakers (50%) and the knickers (50%) does not add up to 100% and the bra is placed under them? See attached. On top of that comes the blank spaces in between the grid. See attached as well.
What can we do to make this work if not try to set a puzzle for each catalog page?

You need to set the masonry thumbnail size specifically for the page to correctly work with the amount of products output.
If you add a WP URL I can do this for you to get it look right.
Thanks.
April 1, 2016 at 12:39 pm #259198Hi David,
Okay, thanks. After you’ve done it can you please explain to me if it will work properly when I add new products ( with random Tall, large or standard product photos)?norinori.greatsimple.com/wp-login.php

April 4, 2016 at 1:03 pm #259517Hi,
I did not change the site on Friday or over the weekend, I am logged in now and am taking a look at your settings.
– I have also asked Ed for an opinion on this also to help speed up your request.
Thanks.
April 4, 2016 at 2:08 pm #259534Thank you.
Somehow “Multi-Masonry Display” was set to “No” (I didn’t do this, so this worries me a bit). I have set it to “Yes” and you are now able to see what I am talking about here: http://norinori.greatsimple.com/product-category/toej/
April 4, 2016 at 2:21 pm #259539Thanks, yes I see it and can broadly replicate something similar locally. I have pinged Ed the query about this to see what can be done for these page types.
Thanks.
April 7, 2016 at 8:38 am #260060Thank you – however 3 more days have passed now?
April 8, 2016 at 7:47 am #260288… and yet another day…
April 8, 2016 at 8:36 am #260299@mariatrier – each time you update the thread it is pushed to the back of the support list.
I’ll ask Ed this morning if he has an update on this as I believe there is indeed an update scheduled soon.
Thanks for your patience.
– David.
April 8, 2016 at 8:49 am #260301Hi,
Please take a look now: http://norinori.greatsimple.com/product-category/toej/
The order needs to be change from default sorting to latest most recent: http://d.pr/i/JBji.
– Again, I’ll check with Ed to see if the default order can still apply the correct layout.
Thanks.
April 8, 2016 at 8:56 am #260303Hello,
Look at the link again and see my attachment:Please take a look now: http://norinori.greatsimple.com/product-category/toej/There’s still ab lank space if I change the size if the knickers from large to standard… and so I presume this will be any issue for all products?
Again it would make sense that the tall image in first line would be replaced by the new standard image of the knickers, but it doesn’t.

Thanks.
