I just purchased Dante and installed on a fresh WP installation. I also loaded your demo content.

In the page editor (classic editor) I get an “Error 500” message when I click the Swift Framework Shortcodes button.

    What do I do?

Note: The Swift Page Builder does work. The error is just was the shortcodes button.

    Thanks!

    Hi David,

I added define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M'); above the line /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */ but I am still getting the same Error 500.

I tried to access the shortcodes using two different browsers just to confirm the Error 500 page wasn’t cached. Same result.

    Other suggestions?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Yes I see that error also: http://d.pr/i/1ipfR.

Please contact your host and ask them what is causing that, what version of PHP are you using?

    Thanks.

    Hi David,

I contacted the host and the PHP version is 5.2.17.

They were not very helpful. They said to disable all the plugins (which are required for Dante to work properly) or use a different theme. Like I said…not helpful.

I asked about memory allocation and he said I’m maxed out at “memory_limit = 128M”.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Tom

    Hi Tom,

Who are you hosting with, that is not a helpful response from them. Please also ask them to look into their error logs to locate the root cause of the error.

Please add your FTP details, I am not sure whatelse I can do to assist – but I’ll take a further look.

    Thanks,
    David.
