  Is it possible to add excerpts to the portfolio_carousel in a similar fashion as the “recent_posts”?

  I switched from Swift Page Builder to the classic editor and manually added excerpt_length=”20″ but this had no effect.

  You can customize in wp-content\themes\neighborhood\includes\swift-framework\page-builder\builder\shortcodes\posts-carousel.php this is the file responsible for posts carousel.
